Just so I will not forget!

I decided I better write a few things down while they are on my memory. The other day Brianna and I was watching tv together and a comercial for dry itchy skin came on. It was one that had a lady showing her elbow and the comercial had written on her elbow with red that says "dry ichy skin" or something like that. Anyway, I can't remember what exactly the medicine was but it was in a stick like a glue stick. They took the medicine and erased the "dry itchy skin" away off of this ladies elbow. Briann looked at me and said "Mom we need some of that stuff so when I draw on myself we can erase it". I had to laugh.

Today, when Dyllon, Brianna, and I were out front waiting for Briannas bus Dyllon noticed that I was squinting. I had one eye closed and he said "Mom you looklike a pirate". Kids say the cutest things. I want to remember these kind of things so I am going to start blogging more so I can remember what goes on throughout our days here.

Matthew is so excited that he got new scriptures for his birthday. I told him that when he wants to read them that I would help him, especially becaue the pages are so delciate. He wants to read the scriptures every night, so I decided that we are going to read the Book of Mormon together and hopefully we can have it done before the end of the year.

It has been nice the last couple of days so we have been playing outside, riding bikes and scooters. I love nice weather so the kids can go out more and run some of their energy off.

The last week has been crazy. Last Tuesday I was in so much pain and after two days of it I decided to go see the doctor. He did X-rays, and found nothing, he did Cat scan and found nothing, then I called my surgeon who took my tumor out and he called in for an ultrasound. Still nothing. I thought I was having a gallbladder attack or that my tumor was growing back. I am so glad in a way they have not found anything but I still get pains every once in a while. I am just going to keep living and if I have severe pain again they will do a better test to check my gallblader and if it is not that, they might want to do an endoscopy. Well other then that we all are doing great!

Matthew's Baptism/Birthday!

Matthew was baptised by his grandfather on March 6th, 2010. We are so proud of his decision to be baptised. Thank you to all my family and friends that helped with this special day! We love Matthew very much and are blessed to have him with us here today.

It was also Matthew's 8th birthday today! After the baptism, our family and friends met at our church for a yummy luncheon! He had a great day and it all turned out great!

Our New Niece

Welcome to the world baby Emily!
John and Holly had their baby February 26th at 5:21 in the morning. I got to watch Sydney and Broolyn and they had a lot of fun playing with my kids. John called at 4 in the morning and I got there as fast as I could, at 4:30, they were in the hospital only 41 minutes until Emily was born. She weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces and was 21 inches long.
CONGRATULATIONS JOHN AND HOLLY!

Princess Brianna!

So the other day Brianna comes walking in dressed up like a princess. She looked so beautiful, like always, and asks "Mom, will you please take my picture?" so I did. We are so blessed to have Brianna in our family. I love having a little girl and she is so much fun to have around. She will always be our little princess!

Basketball!

So this year I put Matthew in Basketball and at his first practice the coach asked if anyone had any brothers or sisters that could play with them for practice time. I took Brianna to the next practice and she loved it so I asked the coach if she could not just practice with them but be on the team. He said that would be great! So Matthew and Brianna play on the same team and they both love it! Here they are after their last game.
Their shirts are reversiable so they can be either blue or white. Every team has the same shirt so it works out great. We love watching them play. The kids on the team are fun to watch. Sometimes we just have to laugh a little.

Outside Fun!

The kids love playing in the snow! I can't remember what I was doing at the time, but when I was gone, Robert got the kids all dressed up and they went outside and made snow angels and snowmen. They had a blast!
