SNOW!!!!!

We had a couple good snow storms here. The kids are very excited to be playing outside. Here is a picture of the snow falling!
Robert and I helped the kids build a really big snowman. It was great packing snow and the kids loved it!

Robert thought the snowmans head was to cold so he decided to make him a really nice hat after the family pictures. But here is Frosty!

Halloween 2010

This year was different for us. The school did not do any kind of trunck or treat and they didn't even have the pumpkin walk going during Halloween. Last year during the pumkin walk they handed out candy, but not this year. So this year we hit the neighborhood and went door to door trick or treating. I was sick with a way bad sore throat, so I drove slow and followed the kids through the neighborhood as they walked. They loved it! Matthew as a motorcycle rider!

Brianna as Cinderella!

Dyllon as a motorcycle rider!

Trip through Palisades and Jackson Wyoming

We decided to pack up the kids and go for a little drive to see the colors of Fall. We went through Palisades and then through Afton Wyoming and into Jackson. We stopped in Afton at a Gun Shop there that Robert wanted to look at. There were no good deals or anything so we bought and icecream bar and headed to Jackson. On the way there Dyllon got car sick so we had to stop and clean the Surburban out. We then went into Jackson and I went and found a cheap outfit for him to change into. It looks like a church outfit, but that was all they had on clearance. We came home through Victor and back through Swan Valley. We were going to stop to get a square ice cream cone but decided against it from the car sick experience. We did have a lot of fun though!
These pictures are backwards, sorry.
Here the kids are riding a bear. This is in Jackson Wyoming!
We had to show the kids the antlers. They thought they were so awesome!
A view from Palisades!

Matthew took a picture of Robert and I. He did a pretty good job!

Family Picture

We got our family pictures taken a while ago. I think we got alot of good ones. This is one of my favorites so I decided to share. The kids did great until at the end, they were getting a bit tired of getting their picture taken. My mom had a guy from pocatello come take them and she is going to have a book put together for us of all the family.

Back to School

Last thursday was the kids first day of school. I had Brianna wearing this shirt but at the last minute we changed it because her white under shirt that came with it was falling down and it was showing to much skin. I could not find her other white under shirt in time. I found it that night though so she wore it the next day. Matthew missed the first day of school because he was sick. Brianna and Dyllon ended up with the sickness but we are all feeling better now. They both love school and are excited to learn this year. Dyllon will start preschool Sept. 1st.

Dyllon Broke his Wrist

Robert took the kids on a bike ride Sunday night to the park. The kids were playing on the play ground and Dyllon was doing the monkey bars. He starting swinging his legs up and his hands slipped and he fell. There was lots of gravel so it help soften his fall on his bottom but he tried to catch his self with his right hand. That night he kept complaining it hurt and we had a rough night so on Monday I took him in to the doctor and they did an x-ray. He smashed his big bone in his wrist and has to wear this until tomorrow and then he will get a hard cast. He is doing really good though. There has been a couple times that he wants to take off his black brace but all and all he does good.

Yummy produce!

Sorry I do not have any pictures I will take some next time. We are enjoying our garden already and love to eat fresh rasberries and zucchini. Today I picked our first yellow squash and that is part of our dinner tonight. I have made zucchini casserole and fried zucchini so far and I just picked another one today so tomorrow I will make zucchini bread. Last year I was not to good with our garden and I let our corn dry up to many times so we did not get that much and I did not weed very good. I am taking much better care of it this year. We are so blessed to have great soil and to grow a garden. I am excited to get fresh tomatoes soon and corn. We are aslo growing spahgetti squash and pumkins and green peppers. Plus my kids love all of it so that is a plus.

Air Show in Idaho Falls (Blue Angels)

Mom and Dad Hall came up this last weekend to go to the Air Show with all of us. They first stayed with John thursday night and then they came down and stayed with us friday night. Friday we went up and saw the windmills they are destroying our beautiful mountain side with. They are putting up another 80 or so more windmills up. There is already 40 something up there. They are cool looking but they make our mountains not so cool looking. On the way back down we went to Reeds Dairy for an ice cream cone and we parked along side of a road and watched one of the jets practice there stunts for the Air Show the next day. It was way cool. We then got back home and started cooking the ribs which were not done until everyone left so we ended up eating chicken and all the other food we had. The next day we went to Idaho Falls and got there 9 in the morning. We were aloud to bring chairs, personal size umbrellas for shade, and empty bottles so we could fill them up with the water they provided. It was way hot, and the water tasted like rubber. The food was way expensive and the lines were outrageous. The news has been doing stories on how the Air Show was GREAT, but the prices and lines were insane. We had a fun time though, and the kids enjoyed it. They did get winny at the end but we made it through. I am just glad that Robert dropped all of us off at the gate and then he parked at Charles and Annettes house. We did have to walk a mile back to their house but it was better then the 3 hours some other people had to wait to get out of the parking lots. The planes were awesome and we saw some pretty neat stuff!

If you look closely there is a woman on the plane, she road that way almost the whole time. This plane was going straight up at times and then spinning, going up side down, and all sorts of other stuff. She is one brave lady.

Matthew, Briann, and Dyllon sitting in a helicoptor. I only had my big lens on my camera so I could get some good pictures of the planes when they were flying.

Matthew earned his Bobcat!

Matthew had pack meeting last week so we all went down to the park and had a fun time. He is getting so big now. He went to a day camp a few weeks earlier and earned some fun badges there and he came home with a huge grin on his face. He loved every minute of it. He keeps asking when camp is again. He also earned his Bobcat badge! I am so proud of him and can't believe he is old enough to be in scouts.

Back Tracking

I found some pictures that I thought I would post that I thought I had lost on my other computer. First we start in April. Dyllon turned four and April 10th. He is getting so big. He is so excited to go to preschool this year! We love him very much and he is such a joy in our lifes.

Brianna had her dance recital in May. She loves dancing in Miss Jills class and has so much fun. I don't know if we will do dancing this year though because it depends on Roberts Job. Plus she says she wants to try Gymnastics so I might put her in that instead.

Brianna also had a birthday. May 21st she turned 6. She is excited to go to 1st grade this year, but will truly miss her kindergarten teacher. Mrs. Weist is a great teacher and Brianna loves her so much. Brianna asked if she could be her 1st, 2nd, and so on grade teacher. It was so cute. Both Matthew and Brianna will be going to the same elementary school and gone for the whole school day. What am I going to do?

SWIM LESSONS

These pictures are in the wrong order but oh well. Matthew, Brianna, and Dyllon all took swim lessons for the last two weeks. They all do great except for Dyllon. He did so amazing the first 4 days and then friday came and he wanted nothing to do with it. They cancelled Monday because their heater broke and then tuesday came and he still wanted nothing to do with it. I went in with him the next day in the Mother Tot class and he did great. The next day he returned to his class and did okay for the first little bit and then wanted out. Friday, his last day he did great again. They same and even put life jackets on them so they could go in the deep end and jump off the diving board, and he did it. He even went down the little slide they have. We have been enjoying the warm weather. Today though as been way windy so they have not been outside much today. They all want school to start and so do I!!

Its been a while.

So I know it has been a while since I have blogged. I don't have pictures yet because our computer crashed a while ago and I was without a computer for 3 weeks. We had a guy come to our house and see what was wrong with it and he took some parts with him to test them and bring them back with more parts to test in our computer and it was fried. So needless to say, we ended up buying a new computer. I don't have any pictures on this computer yet and am upset that my other hard drive has all my pictures on it. The guy is going to try to get the pictures off of it but it might not work. I pray it does. We don't have much planned for this summer since Robert still has no vacation time but we are still having lots of fun. Dyllon learned to ride his bike without training wheels so we all go bike riding together through the neighborhood. The kids love to be outside in this nice weather. They pretty much live out there. We put them to bed around 8 and they sleep until 8:30 to 9:30. Brianna slept until 10:30 yesterday morning. Next week all the kids start swimming lessons and they are all excited. Our strawberries and rasberries came back great and we planted some squash, corn, peppers, and tomatoes. We are hoping by the end of next week we should know if Robert is able to take the Journeyman Substation Test so he can get the job in Rigby. He has been studying a lot lately so hopefully he will pass. All and all we are just enjoying the warm weather and just hanging out. I also have been trying to bake more often and have been getting great recipes off the internet. I think I am starting to like cooking. Well I hope all is well with everyone and hopefully I can get some pictures up here soon.

Brock and Arlenes family came and visted us during their Spring Break. They were just starting their break and we were just finishing ours up. They were able to go see John and Holly and their house, Charles and Annette house, and our house for the first time. They also got to see the newest addition to the Hall Family, baby Emily! Thanks for coming and visting us, we had so much fun!!
Thanks Bradley for having a voice change. Matthew cracked me up when he was trying to talk in a deep voice to sound more like you!

Thanks Hailey for playing with the girls. They had fun having scavenger hunts and playing hide in seek.

Thanks Eliza for playing with Matthew! He had so much fun being outside with you.
Thanks Jenna for playing dress up with Brianna! I wish we lived closer so you two could become best of friends.
Thanks Emma for being so cute and sweet. You look like a little angel!!!

We enjoyed seeing you all and you all are so kind and sweet! We our blessed to have such a wonderful family! Your whole family is a great example to us! Robert and I enjoyed seeing everyone and staying up until 1 in the morning both nights talking to Brock and Arlene. I feel like we were able to catch up a little bit on life and get closer to each other. Thanks again!!

Pine Wood Derby!!!!

Matthew had his first Pine Wood Derby!!! Everyone got a medal at the end so he was way excited! Robert and him made his car using the rules they gave us, and the car did not do so well. We did find out though that no one uses the rules they give you so next year we are going to make a winner!!

Just so I will not forget!

I decided I better write a few things down while they are on my memory. The other day Brianna and I was watching tv together and a comercial for dry itchy skin came on. It was one that had a lady showing her elbow and the comercial had written on her elbow with red that says "dry ichy skin" or something like that. Anyway, I can't remember what exactly the medicine was but it was in a stick like a glue stick. They took the medicine and erased the "dry itchy skin" away off of this ladies elbow. Briann looked at me and said "Mom we need some of that stuff so when I draw on myself we can erase it". I had to laugh.

Today, when Dyllon, Brianna, and I were out front waiting for Briannas bus Dyllon noticed that I was squinting. I had one eye closed and he said "Mom you looklike a pirate". Kids say the cutest things. I want to remember these kind of things so I am going to start blogging more so I can remember what goes on throughout our days here.

Matthew is so excited that he got new scriptures for his birthday. I told him that when he wants to read them that I would help him, especially becaue the pages are so delciate. He wants to read the scriptures every night, so I decided that we are going to read the Book of Mormon together and hopefully we can have it done before the end of the year.

It has been nice the last couple of days so we have been playing outside, riding bikes and scooters. I love nice weather so the kids can go out more and run some of their energy off.

The last week has been crazy. Last Tuesday I was in so much pain and after two days of it I decided to go see the doctor. He did X-rays, and found nothing, he did Cat scan and found nothing, then I called my surgeon who took my tumor out and he called in for an ultrasound. Still nothing. I thought I was having a gallbladder attack or that my tumor was growing back. I am so glad in a way they have not found anything but I still get pains every once in a while. I am just going to keep living and if I have severe pain again they will do a better test to check my gallblader and if it is not that, they might want to do an endoscopy. Well other then that we all are doing great!

It was also Matthew's 8th birthday today! After the baptism, our family and friends met at our church for a yummy luncheon! He had a great day and it all turned out great!

Our New Niece

Welcome to the world baby Emily!
John and Holly had their baby February 26th at 5:21 in the morning. I got to watch Sydney and Broolyn and they had a lot of fun playing with my kids. John called at 4 in the morning and I got there as fast as I could, at 4:30, they were in the hospital only 41 minutes until Emily was born. She weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces and was 21 inches long.
CONGRATULATIONS JOHN AND HOLLY!
