Trip through Palisades and Jackson Wyoming

We decided to pack up the kids and go for a little drive to see the colors of Fall. We went through Palisades and then through Afton Wyoming and into Jackson. We stopped in Afton at a Gun Shop there that Robert wanted to look at. There were no good deals or anything so we bought and icecream bar and headed to Jackson. On the way there Dyllon got car sick so we had to stop and clean the Surburban out. We then went into Jackson and I went and found a cheap outfit for him to change into. It looks like a church outfit, but that was all they had on clearance. We came home through Victor and back through Swan Valley. We were going to stop to get a square ice cream cone but decided against it from the car sick experience. We did have a lot of fun though!
These pictures are backwards, sorry.
Here the kids are riding a bear. This is in Jackson Wyoming!
We had to show the kids the antlers. They thought they were so awesome!
A view from Palisades!

Matthew took a picture of Robert and I. He did a pretty good job!

Family Picture

We got our family pictures taken a while ago. I think we got alot of good ones. This is one of my favorites so I decided to share. The kids did great until at the end, they were getting a bit tired of getting their picture taken. My mom had a guy from pocatello come take them and she is going to have a book put together for us of all the family.

Back to School

Last thursday was the kids first day of school. I had Brianna wearing this shirt but at the last minute we changed it because her white under shirt that came with it was falling down and it was showing to much skin. I could not find her other white under shirt in time. I found it that night though so she wore it the next day. Matthew missed the first day of school because he was sick. Brianna and Dyllon ended up with the sickness but we are all feeling better now. They both love school and are excited to learn this year. Dyllon will start preschool Sept. 1st.

Dyllon Broke his Wrist

Robert took the kids on a bike ride Sunday night to the park. The kids were playing on the play ground and Dyllon was doing the monkey bars. He starting swinging his legs up and his hands slipped and he fell. There was lots of gravel so it help soften his fall on his bottom but he tried to catch his self with his right hand. That night he kept complaining it hurt and we had a rough night so on Monday I took him in to the doctor and they did an x-ray. He smashed his big bone in his wrist and has to wear this until tomorrow and then he will get a hard cast. He is doing really good though. There has been a couple times that he wants to take off his black brace but all and all he does good.

Yummy produce!

Sorry I do not have any pictures I will take some next time. We are enjoying our garden already and love to eat fresh rasberries and zucchini. Today I picked our first yellow squash and that is part of our dinner tonight. I have made zucchini casserole and fried zucchini so far and I just picked another one today so tomorrow I will make zucchini bread. Last year I was not to good with our garden and I let our corn dry up to many times so we did not get that much and I did not weed very good. I am taking much better care of it this year. We are so blessed to have great soil and to grow a garden. I am excited to get fresh tomatoes soon and corn. We are aslo growing spahgetti squash and pumkins and green peppers. Plus my kids love all of it so that is a plus.

Air Show in Idaho Falls (Blue Angels)

Mom and Dad Hall came up this last weekend to go to the Air Show with all of us. They first stayed with John thursday night and then they came down and stayed with us friday night. Friday we went up and saw the windmills they are destroying our beautiful mountain side with. They are putting up another 80 or so more windmills up. There is already 40 something up there. They are cool looking but they make our mountains not so cool looking. On the way back down we went to Reeds Dairy for an ice cream cone and we parked along side of a road and watched one of the jets practice there stunts for the Air Show the next day. It was way cool. We then got back home and started cooking the ribs which were not done until everyone left so we ended up eating chicken and all the other food we had. The next day we went to Idaho Falls and got there 9 in the morning. We were aloud to bring chairs, personal size umbrellas for shade, and empty bottles so we could fill them up with the water they provided. It was way hot, and the water tasted like rubber. The food was way expensive and the lines were outrageous. The news has been doing stories on how the Air Show was GREAT, but the prices and lines were insane. We had a fun time though, and the kids enjoyed it. They did get winny at the end but we made it through. I am just glad that Robert dropped all of us off at the gate and then he parked at Charles and Annettes house. We did have to walk a mile back to their house but it was better then the 3 hours some other people had to wait to get out of the parking lots. The planes were awesome and we saw some pretty neat stuff!

If you look closely there is a woman on the plane, she road that way almost the whole time. This plane was going straight up at times and then spinning, going up side down, and all sorts of other stuff. She is one brave lady.

Matthew, Briann, and Dyllon sitting in a helicoptor. I only had my big lens on my camera so I could get some good pictures of the planes when they were flying.
